The Wall Street Journal’s Editorial Page is Willfully Ignoring the Truth as it Calls President Biden a Liar

On September 11th, the Wall Street Journal ran an editorial entitled, “Biden’s Vaccine Command”.

While not going as far as Fox News, Newsmax, or Q conspiracy adherents, the WSJ declared the Administration’s vaccine mandates unlawful (of course, this remains to be seen — let’s wait for what the courts say), and then mendaciously stated:

The President blamed unvaccinated Americans for clogging up “emergency rooms and intensive care units, leaving no room for someone with a heart attack, or pancreatitis, or cancer.” This is false. Some hospitals have cancelled elective surgeries, but they’ve done so to ensure that people who need urgent care can get it — whether for Covid or something else.

Clearly this is false. Perhaps in NYC where the Journal is located it is a true statement today, but in Idaho, Alabama, Louisiana, Hawaii and elsewhere, the unvaccinated who have contracted COVID-19 are indeed overwhelming hospitals so that patients with non-COVID-19 conditions are unable to obtain the treatment they need.

I am sure I am not the only person who has demanded a retraction. Of course, I doubt we will ever see one.

If the Journal required any proof that their Editorial was incorrect, they need only read today’s front-page article from their cross-town rival, The New York Times: “Covid Hospitalizations Hit Crisis Levels in Southern I.C.U.s

Additional recent sources that document COVID-19 cases from the unvaccinated impacting hospital quality of care can be found at the following urls:

If the Wall Street Journal is going to call the president a liar, it should at least make sure it has its facts straight and not print falsehoods that are easily disproven.
